Inspired by her Asian heritage, my client commissioned me to paint a phoenix on her wedding dress. The phoenix bird, a symbol of immortality, is painted with shades of red. Also I added some gold accents to his feathers. According to my client's vision the feathers were supposed to turn into flowers.

We had lots of fun discussing the design-- I was provided with photos of wedding themes and colors, and had the freedom to be creative with the composition.

The feathers of the phoenix bird and flowers are hand painted with fabric paint. The dress will maintain its brightness, as the colors are set and permanent. You can dry clean it if you wish.

The processing time is currently 5-6 weeks + delivery time.
