Some designs will come printed on Delta shirts while inventory lasts. The differences between these brands and styles are minimal, but specs are listed in images for each one. Many fetish artists during this time concealed their identities. J. Van Styk, Wighead, Hageby, and Kurtys are well-known examples. Needless to say, these depictions did not garner the same sort of attention 90 years ago as they do now.

In Original paper wraps, 327 pages, with cover and 30 illustrations hors-texte by Kurtys, . Imprimerie S Ragoneaux, 33 rue Pixérécourt. Paris. (The First Title by Les Éditions du Couvre-Feu) All illustrations are printed on glossy paper as inserts some of which are loose but all are present. General condition is Good +, cover shows minor loss at head and tail of spine, the book is complete and exceedingly rare.

The multiple Vidal imprints, which were issued to compete with the titles produced since 1931 by Librarie Generale, this triggered a publishing war to gain control of the lucrative trade in Flagellation and Fetish , both in print and between rival shop front outlets catering for the demand for fetish material.The specialism of Vidal imprints was Female Domination, and Torture.

Editions du Couvre-Feu, Editions d'Antin and Editions Curio were part of the Vidal publishing empire and included the imprints editions du Chevet, , editions George de Cayla, editions Ideal, editions de Minuit, editions Richepanse and Le Jardin d'Eros. The Vidal Empire included the Diana Slip fetish and lingerie house, and operated via a number of shopfront oulets where one could purchase erotic books , sex toys BDSM gear and goodness knows what else."
