Cedar is naturally insect and decay resistant, making it a premier choice of gardeners. We never use pallet, ply or pine, only 100% natural untreated CEDAR. You can feel confident that your planter is made of quality materials and safe, even for organic food safe growing.

Each planter comes complete with drainage holes and railing basket style hanger for rails up to 2" wide. The boxes measure approximately 6.5" from front to back and approximately 5.5" from top to bottom of each box. I do have other options for smaller and larger sizes of rails. Just send me a message.

This is also available in a rail-top or window box style. Visit our shop and choose Railtop Planter or Cedar Window Planter if these are your preferences.

Your CEDAR Railing Planters arrive fully assembled. Sizes up to 24" come with one basket style hanger and sizes larger than 24" come with 2 basket style hangers.

The hangers that typically come with this listing are designed to be more of a platform for the planter boxes to rest on. They do not lock the boxes in place but the weight of soil and plants are typically sufficient to keep the boxes in place. If you would like a bracket that fits very securely to the box please send me a message and I will be glad to work with you.
