We gladly accept returns and cancellations on non-personalised items. Earthworks Journals shall not be liable for any damage that occurs to any products procured from Earthworks Journals. This includes, but is not limited to, loss or theft of the product, accidental damage, damage occurring from incorrect cleaning, maintenance, storage or use of the product, damage occurring from any attempts made to alter the appearance or function of the product.

How and when will my order be shipped?

We make most of our journals to order and when you buy one we will be making it especially for you. Any made to order item ordered now will be shipped on: FRIDAY 4th SEPTEMBER UK - Royal Mail Tracked 48 UK (upgrade) - Royal Mail Tracked 24 EUROPE - Royal Mail International Tracked (1 to 2 weeks). US & CANADA - Royal Mail International Tracked (1 to 2 weeks). EVERYWHERE ELSE - Royal Mail International Tracked (1 to 2 weeks). TAXES - Please be aware that if you purchase from outside of the UK then you may be liable for additional customs taxes when you receive the parcel. By completing checkout you agree to this. USA - Due to the new tariffs your parcels will be sent with all duties pre-paid.

What happens if my order is lost or damaged during shipping?

We will give a full refund, including return postage costs where necessary, on any item if it is faulty, damaged or lost in the post. Please retain all original packaging and contact us as soon as possible. If you believe your item is lost in the post then please give it time to arrive, Royal Mail does not consider an item to be lost until 15 business days after the expected delivery date (longer for international shipping). We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss if an item is lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Incorrect postal addresses given by the customer or failure of the customer to collect their parcel from their local collection office will not be considered grounds for refund.

~Description~
Bound in a single thick piece of vegetable tanned leather this journal has one of our hand tooled designs on the cover. It is made from the same leather as our brown journals and has a hand applied black finish. As we use 'full grain' leather, the natural marks and scars in the leather are still visible which makes each book unique. The covers are held closed by two cords finished with leather beads.
It's ideal for use as a magical journal, Book of Shadows or grimoire. With its large size it's great for those with a lot to write about.

~Design~
The Pentagram is a powerful magical symbol often used for protection in ceremonial magic. It represents mans place in the Universe, the five points corresponding to the four elements, air, earth, fire and water plus spirit. Five traditionally represents psychic and lunar qualities. Medieval Christians also used this image to symbolise the five wounds of Christ. Pentagonal geometry is often found in nature as the logarithmic spiral, this spiral is found in the growth patterns of many plants.

32cm x 23cm x 3.5cm (12.5 x 9 x 1.5 inches)
Approximately 250 pages (500 sides) of A4 sized, unlined, recycled, paper.
The pages in this book are hand bound using a strong waxed cord. No glue is used, so the spine of the book cannot be broken, our binding is strong and permanent.

~Paper~
Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour. This 80 gsm weight paper has a matt appearance, is slightly textured and it takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding'.
It's of archival quality which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!

~Personalisation~
We can add up to five letters (name or initials) to the back cover at no additional cost. Just send us a message with your order to let us know what you would like.

This is my second time ordering from this seller and just like the first, I'm beyond thrilled with my notebook. The sellers made sure I was aware of their wait list and shipping delays and everything was sent and arrived as and when they promised, safe and sound. The quality of my notebook is astounding and the only reason I chose to get an A4 one, despite owning the smaller version of the same design, is because I'd already filled the first one out. The only thing I could like even better would be thicker pages, as the current ones tend to bleed through, especially when using fineliners. Otherwise, everything is exceptional.
