Are Brass bee door knockers suitable for my door?

Yes, our door knockers are suitable for composite, wood and UPVC, as long as you can drill into/through they can be fitted to most doors.

How do you fit brass bee door knockers?

We have a handy guide on our listings and also a step by step on our Instagram page. Please send us a message if you require anymore help.

How do the door knockers come packaged?

Each door knocker comes individually packaged in a box wrapped in bubble wrap and presented in a velvet bag.

How long does it take to deliver?

Please see our terms for delivery times. We aim to get all products shipped the same day if ordered before 2pm.

Will my products tarnish?

Unfortunately, all types of solid brass will tarnish over time, there is no way of stopping this. However, we have some useful tips if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and give your brass products a good old wash. The best and most effective way to keep your door knocker in great condition is to regularly wash your door knocker with warm soapy water. By doing this you are removing any outdoor elements such as salt in the air, which overtime will begin to tarnish your door knocker. Your door knocker has been coated with a baked catalysed polyurethane which gives it the perfect finish, and this is why we advise using soapy water rather than any kind of brass cleaner.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Yes, we do however this must be within 30 days of your delivery and the items are unused in all the original packaging. Your refund will be given upon inspection of your item.

Polished Brass Maintenance

Cleaning polished brass involves a gentle approach to avoid scratching or damaging the shiny finish. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to clean polished brass: Materials Needed: Mild dish soap or a gentle brass cleaner Warm water Soft, lint-free cloth or sponge Microfiber cloth or soft towel Brass polish (optional) Soft-bristled toothbrush or an old toothbrush (optional)

My bee door knocker does not fit?

This is our most common question, as many door styles have glass panels, our standoff packer is a solution to this. It is supplied with longer screws that go through the bee, then the packer to the door. This brings the bees wings over the panels to fit perfectly on your door. Please check all sizes before purchasing.

Satin Brass Maintenance

Cleaning satin brass requires some care to avoid damaging the finish. Satin brass has a brushed or matte appearance, and it's important to use gentle cleaning methods to maintain its look. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to clean satin brass: Materials Needed: Mild dish soap or a gentle brass cleaner Warm water Soft, lint-free cloth or sponge Microfiber cloth or soft towel Brass polish (optional) Soft-bristled toothbrush or an old toothbrush (optional)

If your parcel is over 2kg then we can't send this International via The Royal Mail so we need to use other delivery companies which may take longer to arrive than your expected delivery date.
