Large Topiary decorative Balls dough bowl filler for an old fashioned Christmas

There is an advantage to working with a lot of different botanicals and fabrics.

My large assortment allows the opportunity to use the scraps in creative ways.
Some are used to make the rag garlands, some are tied into wreaths and still others create these decorative balls.



You could easily tuck these among the branches of a holiday tree or group them together in a basket or pottery bowl for a casual country decoration all year long.

Each ball measures roughly 4 inches in diameter. They are completely covered in either fabric, moss, or botanicals. Some may have the addition of lace bits or hemp cord or rick rack.
Each one is unique and created based on my material availability and my own changing whims. The sea holly ball has been enhanced with a bit of blue paint, but the others are natural with a protective clear coating.
