A natural sheep wool, as pure as possible, without chemicals, dyes, and suitable for multiple chemical sensitivity sufferers or those who have allergies. Our wool is odourless, soft, fluffy, white in colour, is washed 2 times with only water, without using any chemicals. It is SGS certified which refers to the highest standard of clean, safe wool.
This sheep wool is from the New Zealand and we use the very same wool for our Swingy Nest wool baby lounger filling. We searched for the highest quality wool for a long time and as we found perfect one, we thought also to sell it by pounds / by kilograms.
* Wool is superior to all other fibers in its ability to handle body moisture in both warm and cool environments. In fact, the fibers can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture — ten times as much as any synthetic fiber — without feeling damp or clammy.
* The porous structure of wool fiber also explains why wool is such a good thermal insulator, not to mention the mesh of the fibers, which creates millions of air pockets that further help to regulate temperature and humidity.
* Wool is a naturally strong fiber. It can bend back on itself 20,000 times without breaking. Compare this to cotton at 3,200 times.
* Wool is eco-friendly, environmentally sustainable
* Wool regulates temperature – You can wear wool from the coldest temperatures up to 80+ degrees and be comfortable.
* Diminishes body odour – most synthetic fibers actually increase body odor.
* CARE: Avoid washing. Washing wool will cause fibers to stick together and form clumps and will need to be carded. If you anyway need to wash it, use lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
