Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A miniature dollhouse with a white exterior, gray stone accents, and a green roof. The house has a front porch with a wooden door and a green wreath. The house is surrounded by a black wrought iron fence and a lush green lawn.

This is a made-to-order half-inch fully furnished haunted dollhouse on a property. We finished the two pictured here' with Gothic themes. Each house is unique and will not look exactly alike.

The description is for the last house we sold on the first picture which is a furnished half-inch scale haunted dollhouse on a property. Please contact us first if you are interested in this house before purchasing.

The house has 3 floors; we combined the rooms on the first and second floors and divided the attic. The first floor is the living room, kitchen and dining. The second floor is the bedroom. The attic has a nursery/TV room and full bathroom.

The rooms are richly covered with noncommercial textured wall paper and the upper floors are carpeted while the bottom floor and bathroom are lined with bamboo flooring. The windows were adorned with metal ornate grilles. Inside, there is an OOAK window treatment with fluted burlap with ornate prints for curtains and embroidered gold, burgundy and black ribbon for valance. The attic windows have stained glass-looking inserts.

We went all out on the interior and exterior decor of this project. All interior furnishings were distressed to look weathered. There is a full kitchen and a smaller bistro dining area. The bedroom has an extension that contains the dresser and radio. The attic has a crib with a baby, rocking horse, chaise lounge, and TV. All floors and rooms are filled with accessories making the house looked lived-in.

The exterior is texture-painted and the top is lined with weathered wood paper and decoupage-coated. The bay is lined with textured stone cardboard, matching the chimney. The bay windows were decorated with peaks to go with the Gothic theme. The roof is lined with individual wood shingles that is stained walnut.

There is a great wisteria vine with white flowers that wraps on the terrace and around the house. Along with this is another ivy vine as well. Multiple gargoyles adorn the grounds. There is an added OOAK potting shed filled with overgrown potted plants and garden implements. The fence is a lighted Lemax plastic fence that goes with the theme.

The house sits on a 12 in. x 18 in. platform for a property. The grounds are covered with grass and dirt carpet that creates roughness to the entire look. There is a paved path made of textured cardboard lined with brick. There is also a patio at the back treated similarly.

The house (11 in x 7 in x 18 in tall) is from a puzzle kit. While the origin of the house kit was inexpensive, the meticulous hours of work we put into this as well as the selected items inside and out are what accounts for the cost.
