How do I pay and is it secure?

Payment is processed using ‘PayPal’ or Direct Payments (provided by Etsy) for a guaranteed secure service. PayPal is the leading online payment processing service designed to protect your online details and identity. We are happy to accept both.

Is the delivery safe and secure?

All items are sent with the Royal Mail, using their secure ‘Royal Mail. Signed For® 1st Class’ service within the UK or ‘International Signed For’ service abroad. All items are tracked, tracking numbers will be provided once the item has been dispatched. FAST UK & GLOBAL TRACKED DELIVERY Please be aware all delivery options need to be signed for and require somebody at the delivery address to receive the parcel. Domestic orders should arrive within 2 working days and International orders within a week although this will depend on the countries postal services. Please contact us for any special delivery requirements.

What is the quality of the jewellery?

Antique and vintage jewellery normally show signs of age. We aim to sell items that are in excellent vintage and antique condition. Exceptions are sometimes made if the piece is particularly unique or rare. All items are described in great detail indicating any flaws in the piece. Our items are pre-loved and beautifully aged, please expect minor signs of aging. Any items that do not meet the expectation of the customer can be returned, with a full money back guarantee. For a full refund please notify us within 14 days of receiving your piece, the piece must be returned in 14 days. In total the customer has 28 days to notify us in the first 14 days and ship back to us in the next 14 days.

How accurate are the measurements, dates & photography of the jewellery?

The measurements of the pieces provided are approximations to provide a guide for our customers, jewellery calipers are used to measure the pieces. We seek to provide accurate dates for each item through knowledge, understanding and research. Unmarked items are very difficult to date and therefore such dates must be regarded as estimates, though we strive to be as accurate as we can. The dates on all marked items should be accurate if carrying hallmarks and maker's marks. All of our photography is shot under daylight bulbs. Please be aware colour of the picture can change depending on what device you are using. We always try to describe and photograph the pieces to the best of our ability.

Antique and vintage jewellery require special care, even though they are in excellent condition. We recommend taking off your jewellery when you wash, play sports and sleep. Storing your jewellery correctly will extend the life of the piece. A box with compartments and lined with soft fabric will stop the items knocking together. Storing pieces in plastic is not advised for long periods of time. As a general rule, hairsprays and perfumes used near jewellery can be damaging. Silver dip and other harsh chemicals should not be used to clean jewellery . Once the piece has been dispatched it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure proper care and maintenance.

Reservations & Payment Plans

We will reserve an item for you for up to 7 days without a down payment to customers who are fully committed to purchasing within the time frame. This service is only available to those who are 100% dedicated to purchasing the piece. Please contact us if you would like a piece reserved. If a reserved listing is purchased by another customer the item can not be sold and store credit will be provided, refunds will not be issued. We do offer layaway payment plans, please contact us.

Refunds and Exchanges

We want all of our customers to be happy with there purchase, we will endeavour to fulfil our customers needs. If you are not satisfied with your order please contact us within 14 days of receiving the piece, the item must be sent back to us within the next 14 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable, items must be tracked and we must be provided with the tracking numbers. Before purchasing please take your time to read the description and analyse the pictures of the piece you would like to buy.

We offer a three month warranty which is not due to wear and tear and/or negligence after purchase. Antique and vintage jewellery require special care. Select the piece which is appropriate for your lifestyle. Contact us for advice if you are unsure. Many antique pieces of jewellery are not appropriate for daily wear.

Many of our pieces qualify as antiques over 100 years old, and may benefit from reduced or waived import duties in many countries. In the US, antiques generally enter duty-free. Please contact me with any questions prior to purchase.
