My joy-cons are brand new & ship in the original box with a pair of wrist straps. I only use authentic Nintendo Switch joy-cons, so you can expect all normal features like NFC, rumble, etc. to work perfectly with these new ones.
Other shops use refurbished joy-cons to cut costs, which is more likely to lead to quality issues like joy con drift.
Your Nintendo Switch will recognize your joy-cons as the proper color. For example, if you order atomic purple joy-cons, they will show up as purple on your Nintendo Switch home screen.
