What does tocayo mean?

Tocayo/Tocaya is Spanish for "person with the same name as another" or "namesake". I instantly gravitated to its sound and allusion to tradition, heritage, and connection.

All garments are pre-washed + ready to wear. Cotton + Cotton Blends Machine wash with like colors in warm or cold water, tumble dry low. Silk Hand wash with mild detergent or shampoo. Lay flat to dry. Rayon + Viscose Hand wash cold and line dry.

US Orders All orders ship via Ground shipping. Most orders will ship via USPS Ground. We also may use FedEx Ground Economy, UPS Ground Saver. In a rush and need faster shipping? Expedited shipping options are available for an additional charge- please reach out and I can provide options. International Orders International buyers- your order may have duties or tariffs. Prior to purchase, please review your country's customs regulations to get full understanding of what fees to expect. Most orders will ship via USPS. For these orders, there is USPS tracking until the point when the package is scanned out from US Customs, from then, the parcel will be managed and delivered by your national postal carrier.

Do you offer discounts or sales?

No site wide coupons or promos here. We prefer a transparent pricing model, rather than high-low promotional tactics. We do, however, reduce prices on slow moving or seasonal products on occasion. Check out our sale section!

What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?

Please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages. Our shop is not liable for packages delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier, or stolen after being delivered - all circumstances which are beyond our control. Once we hand your item to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department. Please also note that we will ship your items using the address provided by Etsy on your order slip. If the address in your Etsy profile was entered incorrectly, we are not responsible for re-shipping or replacing items.

One of a kind tie dyed bike shorts. Ice dyed on a beige base.

Lightweight cotton with elastic waistband. Cotton 95%, Elastane 5%. This isn't thick or compression fabric, it's more of a soft lounge quality.

Size Small or Medium.

Sizing is fitted with regular mid-rise. 10.5" front rise, 8" inseam. Women's sizing. H&M brand.

You will receive the exact one photographed, each size is tagged. Though the same methods are used, actual patterns may vary- color + placement as dyeing creates one of a kind pieces. Each piece will have bits of residual flecks of composite colors from fibre reactive dyes, adding to its beauty and individuality.

Info: Garments are dyed with low impact, all purpose dye and laundered using fragrance-free sensitive detergent.
