Knitting yarn Laines du Nord Spring Wool is entirely Made in Italy. This yarn is a sustainable yarn and Mulesing-Free certified yarn. Using such production processes, the manufacturer Laines du Nord, which is located in Italy, guarantees respect for environment and animals. The yarn composition is soft merino wool and breathable organic cotton what makes this yarn perfect for any season of the year. Two different fibers in this knitting yarn create beautiful two-tone colours. The knitting yarn / crochet yarn is soft, pleasant to the skin, so it is suitable from babies to adults. The yarn composition is also perfect for indoor clothing.

Merino wool is an "active fiber," which responds to changes in body temperature. So it helps to stay warm when the weather is cold, and cool when the weather is hot - breathable in summer, insulating in winter, yet exceptionally soft and lightweight. Organic cotton added to this yarn gives more stability and easier care.

Recommended knitting needles size 3,5-4 mm / 5-6 US (based on my own experience, I would recommend smaller knitting needles, especially for hats)
