Biography of Kazuo Oga

Kazuo Oga
Born in Akita Prefecture in 1952. Animation art director.
After graduating from high school, went on to designer school.
72 years, animation background art company
Joined Kobayashi Productions. TV series
Worked on the background for the first time with "Kashi no Ki Mock".
Since then, he has been involved in numerous television series and theatrical films.
For Studio Ghibli works
Participated for the first time as an art director of the movie "My Neighbor Totoro"
Since then, he has been in charge of art director and background art for most of his works.
Currently free, not to mention animated works
Picture book writing, illustration, illustration,
Worked on essays, etc. in a wide range of fields
