A demure, one of a kind raw silver leaf ring with a sculptural skeleton leaf.
Lovingly handcrafted from sterling silver using both traditional and primitive metalsmithing techiques, my own mix of methods of metalworking which aims at using the proprieties of this very soft and malleable precious metal to create organic textures.
The ring feels both contemporary and ancient. Like most of my work, it references the body and landscape.
It makes a statement in an understated way.
This ring is a one-of-a-kind piece and is ready to ship.
US size 6 3/4 (UK size N.)
The black colour of the patina will wear off with wear, staying dark in the nuances of the texture.
The ring will retain an ancient, raw look while the silver is exposed, and will only gain with time and wear.
* All the pieces in Undergrowth Studio are designed by me and handcrafted in my little home studio in Skibbereen, Ireland.
