This beautiful black kitty was a rescue from a local shelter, and a tribute to all of those black babies that are in shelters. She was basking in the window seat in this portrait. Her name was Lovey and we found her a wonderful home.

Unfortunately, most black dogs and cats are overlooked in the shelter, and have a hard time finding homes, however, out of the shelter, they shine. Strangely, most all my black rescues have the best personalities!.
