Vintage cotton saris sourced from the markets here in India are hand stitched together in two to five layers, creating a one of a kind Kantha quilt. These quilts take anywhere from 7 to 35 days to create each.
This is a labor of love traditionally taught from mother to Daughter for generations, a true art form.
These quilts are approximately 55”by 85” in size and 2 kg in weight approx Because of the vintage nature of these quilts, patches and blemishes are quite normal and only add to the charm.
