The low table is constructed of 4 separate live edge cut outs all joined together by steel and wood. Certain voids in the wood have been filled with molten metal. Between 2 of the pieces there’s a larger void roughly 3.5” deep and has a black resin bottom to it. This void can be left as is/filled with a material of your choosing whether that be decorative rocks, plants, succulents, moss, or anything else.
The wood is finished with a 0 VOC (odorless) water based finish and it all sits on a steel base comprised of 5 separate thick steel ‘silos’.
The varied height of the different pieces allows the user(s) a slightly different experience based on where one is sitting. Ranging in heights from 14,14.5 and 15”.
