I shot this photo on a wonderful day, strolling along the shore and in the woods on the south side of the lake with my husband. We were celebrating our anniversary (a BIG one), and it seemed like all of nature was celebrating right along with us. This little baby aspen was one of the first to show its full fall glory, and I couldn’t resist making some images of the leaves, set against the background of Lake Tahoe’s signature blue waters.
