Hand dyed gradient of yellow to orange quilting cotton, available as half yard or fat quarter. The blended colors and high texture make it suitable for multiple quilting projects, from realistic to abstract. Fabric has a thread count of approximately 76-78 and is suitable for hand embroidery as well as machine quilting. Fabric is fusible ready.

First photo shows the half yard view. Second photo shows the fat quarter view. The rest of the photos show close ups along the gradient. Each piece of fabric is unique, but this is the range of colors you can expect.

Fabric specifications:
Preshrunk.
Fat quarter is approximately 21x18 inches
Half yard is approximately 21x36 inches, with the length running down the selvage

Each piece of fabric has been dyed with my own recipe of Procion MX dyes, and washed according to the manufacturer's instructions. After multiple hot washes to remove the excess dye, a sample of each dye lot is steam ironed on white muslin to check for color fastness under normal piecing or fusing conditions. Cold wash recommended. Use of a color catcher is advised if using a hot wash.

Fabric is 100% cotton. My fabric doesn't leave my studio until it has been washed several times to remove excess dye. Each piece is steam ironed on a white drop cloth to further check for any remaining dye. While I am confident the fabric is colorfast under normal conditions, you should always test fabric for colorfastness under your own washing conditions. Cold wash is recommended. For warm wash use a color catcher. Fused items require dry-cleaning. These items are clearly marked in the item description.
