The Writing Log 3 is a word count tracker that's perfect for events like NaNoWriMo or just creating sustainable writing habits by setting realistic monthly and daily writing goals.

Set monthly goals that are broken down into dynamic daily goals that change based on how much (or little) you write. With built-in capability to designate some days as "days off" you will always know exactly how much you need to write to reach your goal.

Defining Your Project

With The Writing Log 3, you are not limited to just one or a handful of projects. You can track as many projects as you like, from blog posts, school papers, short stories, novels and so on. Set a name, set your word count target, a target end date and you'll be able to tell how much time you have left to work on your project.

Setting Your Monthly Goals

For each month, set a word count target for the month and decide what days you don't want to write. After all, it may be nice to factor in holidays weekends, family vacations and unexpected family visits.

Track Your Writing Sessions

With The Writing Log 3, you can record as many sessions per day as you like, whether it's one or twenty. Just jot down the word count and the time spent writing and it'll be counted towards your daily progress.

Review Your Progress

With the monthly dashboard, you can review how you're doing overall for the month. You'll be able to see how often you meet your daily goal, what days you do most writing on, and so on. Use this information to modify your monthly goals going forward to ensure you always have achievable daily goals.
