A pair of very decorative brass ladles, serving spoons. French vintage kitchenalia.

1940’s artisan made kitchen utensils with pretty details going up both handles. There are hooks at the end of each handle so that the ladles can be hung. They were meant to be as decorative as they were useful.

The bowls of the ladles have an unusual shape; not quite round, quite deep with a pretty lip around the edge. They are attached to the handles by 4 little copper rivets.

Diameter of the bowls including the little lip : 14.5cm/5.5ins
Depth of the bowls : 4cm/1.5ins
