Where does your fat come from?

All of our beef fat (tallow and marrow) comes from a 100% organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed/finished beef cattle farm a couple miles up the road from us. The lard comes from pigs raised right here on our farm!

I switched to your deodorant from commercial deodorant and i still smell bad. What the fuck?

When you switch to any natural deodorant from an aluminum-laden anti-perspirant your you can expect a 2-4 week detox period. Around week two you'll likely notice an INCREASE in odor. THAT'S GOOD! That means that the aluminum that has been constricting your pores for god knows how long and the bacteria that's been trapped behind it is starting to be flushed out by the sweating that your armpits are finally being allowed to do. Oh yeah, during this time you'll also likely notice yourself sweating more. THAT'S ALSO GOOD! Both the sweat and bacteria will normalize by the end of those 2-4 weeks.

Will the Skin Repair Cream make me smell like beef?

Listen, Maureen. If you stick your nose in the jar of beef fat it's going to smell like a jar of beef fat because it's a jar of beef fat. Dig? HOWEVER, if used as directed (work a TINY amount of cream into the skin and, if there's excess, remove with a paper towel) the scent will dissipate within 5 minutes as the tallowy/marrowy goodness is absorbed. Result: moisturized, hydrated skin that smells like skin.

What's the difference between the Tallow Cream and the Marrow Cream?

They have virtually the same vitamins, nutrients, and essential fatty acids (omega 3's, 6's, 7's, 9's, CLA, etc.) to nourish and hydrate the skin. The big diff: marrow contains high levels of collagen, the protein responsible for skin's elasticity.

Why do you add sugar and salt to your soaps?

I love this queston! Let's talk about lather - There is zero correlation between the amount of lather a soap produces and how clean it'll get you; it's purely a perception thing. BUT, because there's such a strong association, commercial soaps add cheap, harsh chemicals to maximize lather production. But there's a natural alternative - Sugar! Sugar, when added in trace amounts to soap (about 1 Tb per 10 lbs of soap), through equal parts science and magic, creates lather! Trouble is, it also creates a softer soap. That's where salt comes in. The same amount of salt in bar soaps (in a similar science:magic ratio) makes for a much harder, longer-lasting bar. In liquid soaps, it allows me to adjust the consistency and achieve optimal goo.

What makes it LADY Beef Stick? The word "Lady" at the front of it.

What is the difference between Beef Stick and Lady Beef Stick? Absolutely nothing, because gendering products like deodorant is absurd and detrimental to our furtherance as a society (there's just something about "Lady Beef Stick" that tickles me...)

However, since women in 2025 still earn about 80 cents for every dollar made by a man, it only seems fair that Lady Beef Stick should cost 20% less.

Lady Beef Stick contains five ingredients. All of them natural. Most of them organic (YOU try finding organic baking soda). And none of them fragrances or parabens or phthalates or any other scary, organ-damaging chemical garbage. Instead, the baking soda naturally eliminates odor (like the box sitting in the back of your fridge right now). It also contains arrowroot powder to absorb moisture and soothe skin irritation (for those of you who shave your armpits). Add to that the amazing skin moisturizing and nourishing properties of tallow and you'll never walk down the deodorant isle in the supermarket ever again!

Note for use: Most scented deodorant relies on its heavy fragrance to just cover up body odor, and because of that, many people's inclination is to put it on heavy. This ain't that. 2-3 quick swipes is all you need for the natural ingredients to do what they do naturally. If in five minutes, once the oils have had a chance to absorb, your pits feel like a Slip 'N' Slide, that's a solid indication that you've used too much. Simply remove the excess with a paper towel and apply a bit less next time. Also, allow a few minutes between applying Lady Beef Stick and putting on a shirt. This allows the oils to be absorbed by the skin and avoids unsightly pit stains :-)

I waited to review this for a few weeks to give an honest opinion. I cannot say enough good things about this deodorant!! I live in Florida and we have been having Temps in the high 90's or more. I've been outside working in my flowerbeds and garden..the very first time I used it, it worked!! No sweating or odor. No need to transition from store bought to this. It's absolutely perfect. A little soft and a little goes a long way. I've noticed I can skip a day or two also and it's still working. No staining of clothes either. I'm ordering 3 more asap! Now, the shipping was super quick and I had an issue with figuring out the free shipping..no problem. Shipping was refunded and communication was so quick and easy. By far my favorite shop and products.

This is my 3rd or 4th order JKLM’s Lady Beef Stick because it is a really good product. I have contact dermatitis so the ingredients in over the counter deodorants irritate my skin. JKLM’s deodorant, being all natural, doesn’t bother me at all. I highly recommend it.
