I'm really pleased to have these patterns. I made "The Rose" style and love the results. The instructions were very helpful with sizing info (I had to size up) and basics like seam allowances, but when it came to each specific style they rely very heavily on the original 1920 instructions which aren't what modern seamstresses are used to. The actual sewing is quite simple but I had to carefully check the diagrams in the original instructions to figure out details like the brim being attached with a lapped seam (you just don't come across lapped seams in most sewing projects). Still, I'm very happy with my purchase. Construction hint: I hot-glued my flowers to a scrap of my felt and then sewed the assembled decoration to the hat rather than risk a mistake by hot-gluing right to the hat.

Love the types of hats included but the patterns are hand drawn. I went in and measured and confirmed they were accurate.
