Each snowflake ornament comes with string for you to hang the second you receive it. The only thing you need to do is decide where you are going to hang it. They are about 4 inches long and about 3.5 inches wide. I have 10 different colors available to choose from. I have colorful silver,green monster, violet sky, purple blue, bright green, blue lagoon, royal wedding, mermaid, sky pink, and pot o gold. Color silver is the one in the pictures
