Stunning little bright pink/purple dichroic stud earrings reminiscent of the exotic colour of orchids. This dichroic glass has a lovely crackled pattern and the colour shifts as it moves in the light from warm pink to hot purple. They are supplied in a presentation gift box.

The earrings have a choice of sterling silver hallmarked 925 or hypoallergenic surgical steel (316L) ear fittings. The earrings are round in shape and measure approximately 8mm in diameter.

To make the earrings I have hand cut 2 pieces of sheet glass, layered them together and fired them in my kiln to a heat of around 800 degrees at which the layers melt together and form hard stones. The firing process takes around 24 hours and includes a lengthy cooling/annealing process which ensures the glass stones are strong and durable.
