Little scratchy when arrives... Gets smoother pretty fast.. Obviously not merino wool smooth..... But smooth for wool.. Size is very large in comparison to many wool ponchos out there.... Fabric is tightly woven to this price range.. .. I would recommend and most likely will be returning customer in the future
