Patented design
This listing is for ball and socket style clasps. They are considered 8mm clasps, though the diameter is closer to 9mm, and from end to end measure about 5/8" once connected together. The metal is lead and nickel free. If you need a different quantity than what you see in the pull down menu, please write me before purchasing so that I can write in your quantity. The plating colors are silver (bright and shiny), gold (shiny plus slightly aged looking), gunmetal (hematite/charcoal toned), pewter (dark silver tone), copper (antiqued), brass (shiny plus antiqued... the shiny brass balls are slightly more coppery than the rings, so expect a color difference, as noted in the pic, too). The two golds are quite similar in color, though the antiqued ones are slightly darker. I have noticed that some of the clasps have what seems to be a residue from polishing or buffing from the manufacturing process, and it seems this will wear off with gentle use. I notice this more on the shiny clasps like the bright silver and bright gold. :)
The collar snaps onto the ball and once they're snapped together, the collar rotates freely so that your necklace or bracelet will drape well. They are patented and marked as such.
