These extra-large soap dishes have been designed to allow water to drain freely away allowing your soap to dry better and last longer. Because wood is a natural material each dish has its own unique color and grain pattern.

The wood for each soap tray has been sustainably sourced and crafted from a solid piece of Iroko (same as teak), sanded smooth, and finished with danish oil.

For a limited time, these soap dishes are available in two sizes 38 by 9cm and a slightly shorter size at 34 by 9cm. Apart from the 4cm difference in length and three less draining slot, both soap dishes are the same.

These soap dishes were designed and handmade by myself in my workshop in West Cork.

The soap dishes feature a shallow tray-like recess to hold the soap bar in place and have long slots cut into the base to allow water to drain freely from your soap. The extra-large size of these dishes means they can hold 2 or more soap bars or one very large bar of say laundry soap.

The finish is danish oil which helps to seal the wood and add a further level of protection to the dish.

If you return something you're responsible for the cost of return shipping, and if the item shipped with "free shipping", the actual cost of the original shipping label won't be refunded. Please contact me before sending things back to see what your actual refund amount would be in those cases.

Unfortunately, if the post office marks the package as delivered, I have to take that as proof of delivery, and refunds will not be available. It's the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location.

If this does happen, check with anyone who may have picked up the package and brought it in. After that, check with neighbors, or look around your house to see if the mail carrier left it in an inconspicuous area. After that, check with the post office in person to get the GPS reading from the delivery scan (for deliveries with a tracking number). In the case of stolen packages, you should file a stolen package report with the police and the post office so that they can track patterns of theft in your area.

Some items in my shop are marked as "free shipping" This is achieved by using the lowest cost standard postage rate available by the Irish post office "An Post" for that particular item and does not always include a tracking number.
Free shipping means that the cost of postage has been included in the price of the item. A tracking number will only be included if the total amount of postage paid covers the additional cost of a tracking number for that delivery.
The Irish post office charges an extra €7 on top of the standard post for a tracking number.
