These toner transfer films are not self-adhesive, you need toner (with heat) or glue for the films.

This toner transfer foil works with two methods:

♦ Instructions for laser printer & laminating/foliating device:
1) Print something in black with a laser printer on suitable paper. (e.g. a pattern or lettering)
2) Place the foil on the printed paper with the shiny/colored side facing up.
3) Then place a white sheet on top or put the whole thing in a folder and run it through your hot foil machine/laminator. (The heat melts the toner and turns it into glue)
4) Remove the foil and wherever there was black printing, the shiny color remains.

♦ Instructions Blue Glue Pen ZIG glue pen:
1) Draw something with the glue stick on the desired paper. (You can also trace something that has been drawn/printed)
2) Let it dry until the blue color becomes transparent.
3) Place the foil on the paper with the shiny/colored side facing up and move pressure over the foil. (It works best with your fingernail)
4) Repeat this until the entire adhesive layer is covered with the color of the foil and the beautiful effect is complete.

Tips for a perfect result:
Paper: The best paper/cardboard is one that is not too thin (from 100g) and has a very smooth surface.
Printer: It has to be a laser printer because you need the toner which melts due to the heat and becomes glue. (An inkjet printer won't work! If you don't have a laser printer, ask at a copy shop near you or use a Blue Glue Pen)
Transfer device: A laminating/foiling device that works at high temperatures works best.

Attention: Some areas may remain black. To avoid this, follow the tips for a perfect result. Also make sure the surface is dust-free. (The films work on paper and cardboard, but not very well on overhead film or tracing paper) The print settings may also need to be adjusted. The more toner, the better the adhesive.
