Highlights
THE RAFTER
I have always been fascinated by the human body in motion, especially in sports where the whole body becomes part of the action.
With this sculpture, I wanted to capture a woman rafting in the middle of the adventure. Her body leans into the movement while she holds the paddle, creating a figure full of energy and action.
I love how the colored wire details bring another sense of movement to the sculpture and give the figure her own personality.
For someone who loves rafting, rivers, and outdoor adventure, this sculpture can be a personal reminder of the excitement, freedom, and experiences connected with the sport.

Reviews for this item
My husband ordered this as a Xmas present for one of his staff members in Singapore, who works in the Ministry of Transportation, after having seen a similar sculpture that I ordered for our son for Xmas (a gift that hasn’t been given yet!). He was so impressed with Katerina’s art that he at once ordered two wire art gifts for his hardworking staff. Katerina made this in double quick time, and dispatched it at once, so that it arrived in plenty of time for Xmas. The young woman was thrilled with her gift. Katerina is an artist who goes the extra mile for you. The sculptures come beautifully boxed in ribbon, with a little thoughtful gift and card, and such interesting background information on how she makes her art. We are so lucky she shares her talent with the world like this!
