This genuine leather belt clip is hand made from veg tan'd leather and is designed to securely fashion your lightsaber to your Jedi Belt. For lightsabers equip'd with D-Rings, you need a hook on your belt to fasten them to. Most (cannon, Rebel Legion approvable) hooks require you to punch holes in your belt to fasten them, which makes them fixed in place, and restricted to one side. The other option, Covertec Wheels, won't help you out if you have a D-ring, and while cannon, seem like "forced" technology in the Star Wars universe.

This clip, however, moves around on your belt as you see fit - left side, right side, around on your back, etc. If you take a $500+ lightsaber to a convention, are you going to trust it to a simple hook on your belt? This clip closes around your D-Ring, easily, and will hold it in place, on your belt, until you remove it.

They are great for everyday use as well - for keys, a flashlight, a water bottle, or your wallet chain.

There are three pieces of leather that make up this Saber Clip - The "Wide" piece that is the main body of the item with everything riveted onto it, the "Accent" piece that is the small loop of leather that holds the clip in place, and the "Crossover" piece that rivets the clip hardware to the wide piece.

Leather:

1. Width: How wide is the belt you intend to hang this on? Typically belts are 2, 2.5 or 3" wide.

2. Color - Which color would you like? We offer black, and many shades of brown. See the last photo on the listing for the color chart. All of the Antique Gel's all have the accented, almost wood-grained weathered look. Black is NOT pictured on the color chart. If you want black, please let us know - AG-15,3 is not black is very dark brown.

3. Finish - Matte or Gloss? Check out this video - www.facebook.com/110250287245412/posts/144207730516334/?vh=e&d=n to see them compared. Both finishes will protect the leather from water damage, and keep the antique gel where it belongs - on your leather, not on your clothes or skin!

4. Wide Piece, Bottom Shape: Square, Rounded or Angled. The bottom of the Saber Clip can either be square, have its' ends cut at 45 degree angles, or it's edge's rounded. See the 6th image for details.

5. Wide Piece, Decorations: By default and included in the price, the Wide piece carries Tooling #1, meaning there is a stitching groover line cut around the edge, 1/4" in. Your second included option is to leave this Wide Piece clean, with no groover line on it.

Paid options: For $5, applied by choosing "Stitching" or "Tooling and Stitching" from the options when you purchase the clip, we will hand stitch decorative thread along the groover line. If this option is chosen, then we'll need to know which color thread you want: Black, Brown, Red, White, or Light Blue. See the 8th image for thread color examples.

For $5, applied by choosing "Tooling" or "Tooling and Stitching" from the options when you purchase the clip, any of the tooling options from the photo can be applied to the Wide piece between the groover line and the outside edge. See the 9th image for our tooling options.

For $10, applied by choosing "Tooling and Stitching" from the options when you purchase the clip, we will apply the tooling of your choice, and then hand stitch decorative thread along the groover line. If this option is chosen, then we'll need to know which color thread you want.

6. Do you want the Wide piece and the Accent piece to be the same color? If not - what color would you like the accent piece to be?

9. Rivets - There are two rivets on the front to hold the Crossover piece, one to connect the ends of the Wide piece, and two in the back that hold the Accent piece to the Wide piece. Which rivets would you like these to be? Please see the Photo labeled "Rivet Options" to make a selection.

** Please note that our products are made from natural veg-tan leather. Being that it is a natural product there may be bumps, lines, pock marks or other small imperfections in the leather as well as variations in how different thicknesses of leather will take dyes and gel. We do our best to limit these "imperfections" and deliver clean, quality surfaces over all thicknesses and try to use the same source hide for each piece. Some of these variations aren’t noticeable until color is applied to the item- and at that point it's too costly to make the piece again. We appreciate your consideration and flexibility when purchasing an item made from a natural source material.
