Solid Brass Bell with Brass Clapper. Ornate. Vintage.

This solid brass bell is very ornate and detailed. It has rings around the top of the bell and a raised gold design on the bottom. It’s removable chain has a half dragon in a half circle on the end.

This piece used to be a part of a hanging church bell. The base has been lost over time. It has a piece on the top that used to mount into the base. The screw on top attaches the mounting hardware to the loop of the bell. If you remove the screw the bell can be used alone. It makes a delightful sound!

I love vintage bells and this one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen!

It’s a very interesting and beautiful piece of history.

The bell measures approximately 2 1/2“ x 3“. The top piece measures 3 3/4“ x 4 1/4“.
