How much do I have to pay for international shipping?

All international parcels are sent using the International Royal Mail or ParcelForce Worldwide Tracked and Signed For service. I don't offer standard international service that is not tracked as it carries no guarantee of delivery or insurance. The international shipping fee listed for each product in my store is an ESTIMATE. Please contact me to obtain an accurate shipping cost BEFORE you purchase an item. If a customer purchases an item based on an estimated cost, and this is lower than the actual shipping cost, the difference in price cannot be refunded. Likewise, if the actual shipping cost is higher than an estimate, then I reserve the right to request that the difference in shipping costs is paid, before I can complete the order

Can I reserve an item?

I can reserve an item after a conversation and agreement with a buyer. Reservations are made for 24 hours.

Do you accept returns?

I am unable to accept returns due to high costs to both the buyer and myself. All products are carefully and securely packed with recycled or recylable packaging where possible. On very rare occasions, a vintage piece can be damaged or broken in transit. I am not responsible for such damage. If a purchased item is damaged or broken during packaging from my store, I will be honest and inform you, cancel the order and provide you with a full refund. The photographs on my listings are not stock images but actual photographs I take. I provide accurate descriptions of any flaws or manufacturing errors that I can see. If you have any issues, please message me on the day you receive your purchase, and DO NOT discard the packaging.

Do you offer combined shipping?

Yes! Combined postage is available for most items. If you would like to order more than one vintage piece from my shop please contact me so that I can provide you with an accurate combined shipping cost for the items you are interested in purchasing. International buyers are required to provide me with the desination's postcode/zipcode AND a local telephone number, so I can get an accurate shipping price for the delivery destination. The information you provide is not shared with any other third party. Once you are happy with the combined shipping price quotation, I shall set up a custom order. You can then go ahead and complete the order. Any questions - please message me.

VAT, Taxes, Telephone numbers and international orders.

I am not a VAT registered seller therefore, VAT fees are NOT included in the cost of your item or shipping. Due to Brexit, you will be responsible for paying the VAT tax and/or any other customs and import fees that may apply. International customers may be required to pay their country or state taxes. Please note that I require your local telephone number for items sent via Parcel Force Worldwide for international dispatches. This information is a customs requirement and I have to abide by their regulations. Your number is not shared with any third party and only used for the purpose for which it is given.

Where will my purchase be shipped?

I will ship to the delivery address provided on your order. If the delivery address is to another recipient and not yourself, please ensure that you provide your own email address and not that of the recipient, so that we might communicate with each other with respect to the purchase/shipping. Please ensure you provide the correct shipping address with correct postcode/zipcode when you place an order.

Which countries do you ship to?

I ship to most countries, but I reserve the right to cancel an order if I find that shipping is not trackable to a particular country or if I do not feel confident that a delivery will be successful. If you live on a British island within the UK's coastal region, shipping may cost more, so please message me for an accurate shipping price before you place an order. Please make sure that I can ship to your country before you make a purchase.

UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail 2nd class Signed For Service for most purchases. International Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide are my go-to couriers for international shipping. For faster shipping (e.g. First Class) message me BEFORE placing an order because it will cost more, and the difference in costs will have to be paid by the buyer. Proof of posting is obtained for all shipments. Etsy does not hold sellers responsible for non-delivery or delay in delivery of orders as long as they were shipped on time by the seller to the delivery address provided by the buyer. Therefore, refunds are not possible. Customers are provided with tracking code so that they can chase up the courier themselves, and collect their package.

Condition of Vintage Products? / Intellectual Property

The products I sell are vintage, some are antiques. Therefore, they are between 20 and 120 years old, and will have age and use related wear, such nicks, cracks, crazing or missing parts. Please make sure you read the description on the listing carefully before purchasing. I always try to provide accurate descriptions and detail any imperfections or manufacturing flaws. The photographs form an essential part of the description. If I have made a genuine error when describing an item then please message me. I use natural light to photograph the products, but your device may not pick the colours accurately. Note: photographs on my listings are my intellectual property and cannot be reproduced/copied without my permission.

How will my vintage item be packaged?

I take a lot of care that all the vintage pieces I sell are clean, well wrapped and protected adequately for transit to their destination. Some pieces may need specialist cleaning, a service I do not provide. I shall let you know if this is the case. We use recycled packaging wherever possible to minimise our environmental impact. This includes: - packaging recycled paper or shredded paper as protective filler - reused bubble wrap - pre-used good cardboard boxes - old jewellery boxes - brown paper - rarely, polystyrene pellets We also use new packaging material: - new boxes - eco bubble wrap - organic recyclable wraps (e.g. sheep wool) When you receive your package, please reuse or recycle to reduce your carbon foot print. - .

Highlights

Handpicked by VelvetTambourine
Vintage from the 1930s
Materials: Glass

A really striking blue Art Deco pressed glass plate by Bagley, part of the 'Fish Scale' pattern range, catalogue number 3067. Made in England by Bagley & Co in the 1030's. The plate has a wavy edge with a large rim of the iconic fish scale design. The round flat centre has a floral 'cut' design. Would look lovely with a cake or fairy cakes.

In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips on the plate. The base rim has a few tiny nicks to one part. Unobvious light scratches seen under bright light, due to age and usage.

Dimensions: DIameter = 23.5cm (widest point); Ht. = 4cm (highest point)

The photographs are also part of the description. I'd be happy to answer any questions about this piece.
