Quan Yin: Goddess of Peace and Forgiveness

Buddhist Goddess of Compassion, Quan-Yin, is dedicated to relieving the suffering in the world. Her name translates to “she hears the cries of the world.” She is the one who cares and nurtures all who come to her. She is the one who hears the cries of her children and who responds to the heartfelt needs and anguish of the people of the earth, regardless of their background or belief.

Her energy is associated with the white lotus, symbolizing purity, peace and harmony; the dragon for power and wisdom. Quan Yin is a bodhisattva, a being of wisdom, destined to become a Buddha but who took the vow of bodhisattva to save all beings from suffering, forgoing the final state of Buddhahood. Her unconditional love energy resides in and around us.

Always remove your Goddess jewlery before showering or sleeping to avoid tarnishing of the metal.

Treat your Goddess jewelry with the same care as you would expect when handling fine art behind glass.

Never submerge your Goddess jewelry in polishes or cleansers. A dry soft cloth is all that is needed to remove fingerprints and body oil from the pendant.

What is a reproduction on Canvas?
These are"reproductions on canvas, stretched and gallery wrapped. That means that Sergio prints the image ( here in the studio), cuts the wood 'stretcher bars' (this is where it gets confused with a frame), and stretches it over the wood )- those are the "stretcher bars". It then gets stapled on the back - as opposed to on the sides as in old days. It is called gallery wrap as it was made this way for galleries, who requested artists provide our work " ready to hang." This stretched canvas can be framed, or hung as is. Sergio also adds additional inks to the perimiter of the canvas so that it looks even nicer :)
