Our Flower seeds have been stored in a refrigerated environment. You can plant your organic seeds in your herb garden right out of the pack or provide another 30 day cold stratification period for a possible better germination rate ( at least store in refrigerator until use). Seeds can be started indoors or sown directly into the soil late winter, early spring ( depending on your zone). Seeds can also be planted in the fall, directly into prepared soil.

In the family‎ ‎Asteraceae and Native to the United States, Organic Echinacea is a herbaceous, perennial cone flower, growing two to four feet in height. Cone flowers make a showy addition to any landscape with very little work on the gardener.

Started early enough, it is possible to flower echinacea the first year, although typical plantings usually result in a rosette the first season and the first budding appearing the 2nd season. Echinacea prefers full sun, damp soil ( not wet) and will produce additional flowers when the dead ones are cut back.
