Authentic Pure Cotton Paithani saree with 14 peacocks in zari woven palav. It has zari woven paisley motifs all over and beautiful zari border of 4 inches including the edge.

Saree is 5.32 metres long and 46 inches wide.

It comes with an unstitched blouse piece 79cms long and 46 inches wide of saree material with zari border.

Fall and Pico are done.

Comes wrapped in a beautiful bag handmade with love.

Paithani (Marathi: पैठणी) is a variety of sari, named after the Paithan town in Aurangabad Maharashtra state where they are woven by hand. Made from very fine silk, it is considered as one of the richest saris in India.
A pattan (Paithani) is a gold and silk sari. Paithani is characterised by borders of an oblique square design, and a pallu with a peacock design. The borders and the pallu are woven in zari regardless of the colour of the sari. Zari is a metallic yarn. Initially, zari used in making Paithani was drawn from pure gold. However, silver and gold coated copper are the affordable substitute today.
