Why are these more expensive than the plastic ones I can buy from a shop?

Pop & Pip book covers are made to last with 100% cotton high quality fabrics and stitching. Our covers should be durable enough to last longer than the plastic ones but when they are done, they are able to go onto the compost heap, used as weed matting in the garden or if they do go to landfill they will breakdown and help our precious environment! Worth every cent!
