Sea Buckthorn berries are said to be the single highest source of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids, and beta-carotene, which effectively reduce facial lines, and dryness.

1) This CO2 EXTRACTION is far superior to Cold Pressed Sea Buckthorn seed Oil, because CO2 Sea Buckthorn Oil retains all its original plant compounds, as it is extracted at a far lower temperature than the Cold Pressed version.

2) CO2 Extraction is far gentler than Cold Pressing, because the plant material is not crushed.

1) Among the Vitamin A Carotenes found in Sea Buckthorn Oil are:
alfa-carotene, beta-carotene, lycopene, cryptoxanthin, and zeaxanthin.
Zeaxanthin is the major compound, representing a high 38.0%.

The total amount of tocopherols and tocotrienols is roughly 64 to 300 mg per 100 g.

The helping power of these types and amounts of vitamin E, is many times higher than synthetic Vitamin E (which is synthesized in a laboratory, and called dl-alpha-tocopherol. Avoid this at all costs.)
