This is a one-off painting of Surfers Paradise on New Years showing one of the many spectacular fireworks displays held here. Fireworks over the iconic Surfers Paradise beach is one of my earliest memories.
This original painting was featured as the January 2014 Facebook cover picture on the New York based Acumen Artist Group.
This painting is 60cm (24") by 30cm (12") by 2cm (1") and is ready to hang, no framing required.
This painting is hand painted using high quality archival professional acrylics; it continues around the sides and is wired so no need to frame as it is ready to hang. It has been sealed with two coats of satin varnish to protect the beautiful colours.
This piece of art would look exceptional in your home or office and would make a memorable gift for a special person. The photos do not do the painting justice.
Frame & Shipping Options
The painting continues around the sides so no need to frame, your new artwork comes ready to hang.
Paintings to be sent overseas can be removed off the stretcher bar, rolled and packaged for safety and a more cost effective postage. Please contact me to discuss this option.
To have your painting re-stretched is a relatively inexpensive process and is a practice that is widely recognised by all artists and framers. To re-stretch the painting yourself, is a relatively easy process.
About the Artist
Having been born in Australia's outback during years of drought, I had never seen rain or the beach until we moved to Australia's beautiful Gold Coast when I was 5 years of age. Ever since then the beach and water has always fascinated me.
The beaches in Australia, in fact all of our amazing colours and scenery here, inspire me to paint.
When I finish a painting, I have left a little bit of my heart and soul in each piece and I believe this feeling comes across in my art.
I hope you enjoy my art and I thank you for looking at my page. If you have a subject that you would love to see hanging on your wall in acrylics, please do not hesitate to contact me regarding commissioning your dream artwork for you.
