2 Point Farm contributes a portion of our annual fiber harvest to the New England Alpaca Fiber Pool (NEAFP) each year. As the Grower of the raw material, we care for the alpaca herd year round, feeding them, cleaning up after them, maintaining pastures and barns, taking care of routine health needs, and shearing them once a year. Once the fiber is collected, we prepare it for various uses by sorting through each fleece and cleaning out any debris. Each fleece is then sent on for it's own particular best use, whether it be a fleece show, sent to a mill for yarn or roving, sold as raw fleece for hand spinning or sent to the fiber pool. NEAFP is located in Fall River, Massachusetts and knits hese high quality alpaca gloves using only USA alpaca, made in the USA.
