I do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order please contact me immediately upon delivery. Damaged item claims have limitations and requirements to submit a claim. please see "Damaged / broken item" FAQ for details.

Under extenuating circumstances I may accept a return. In this rare instance the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs with tracking, and the refund issued will be less the amount I paid in shipping plus 10% of the item cost. the 10% is a "restocking fee" to recoup Etsy selling fees and packing material cost. As a small business owner I cannot afford to absorb these fees.

Example: you paid $200 with "free shipping" & It cost me $40 to ship. Your refund would be: $200 - $40 - $20 (10%) = $140

I take pride in having happy satisfied customers and do my very best to ensure a safe and timely delivery. Sometimes damage can happen in transit though, so please contact me IMMEDIATELY if your item is received broken or damaged.

Most items priced $100 or more will ship with insurance. In order to file a claim you MUST contact me immediately, send me photos of all packing materials, and photos of the broken item.

You are REQUIRED to keep the broken item and ALL packing materials for the duration of the claim. Discarding anything can invalidate the claim which will hold you responsible for burdening the proof of damage and / or cause your claim to be denied with no refund to you.

With rising issues of package theft I recommend getting a signature required for all orders.

This is an additional cost of $7 but ensures your item will not be left where it shouldn't have been, or put into the wrong hands.

I am a small business owner and this is my sole income. I deeply sympathize with stolen items, but the burden of replacing the item or refunding the cost can not be placed on me since it is completely out of my control.

If you do not purchase a signature required for delivery you will need to file a claim with the shipping company on your behalf. No refund will be issued from me.

Signature required has limitations. The shipping labels are purchased through Etsy who retains full control of the restrictions placed for delivery.

-You CANNOT request an alternate delivery address or delivery dates / times.
-You CANNOT have this package held at a local office for pick up if you miss the delivery.

Etsy blocks both of these options and I have no ability to change this.

It MUST be signed for at the address on the label, at what ever time FedEx attempts to deliver it.

FedEx will make 3 attempts to deliver the package. If you do not sign for the package by the 3rd attempt it will be sent back to me (which can take up to 60 days). Please see signature Returns FAQ below.

If you choose to place a signature requirement and do not sign (whether it was due to not being present when the driver was attempting delivery or otherwise) for all three delivery attempts the item is sent back to me.

This can take up to 60 days & YOU are charged for the return shipping. Once I receive the package you will be issued a refund as follows:
Purchase price reduced by Shipping costs X2 and further reduced by 10% of purchase price.

Example:
$100 purchase price
$20 shipping
*Item not signed for and sent back*
$100
- $25 original shipping cost (including boxes and packing materials)
- $20 return shipping cost
- $10 fee
Refund: $45

OR you can choose to pay for the shipping TWICE to have it re-sent (original return + re-send)

All ELECTRICAL items (such as electric lamps) are sold as I found them unless I note differently. I will note if it is in "working" condition, but that does not imply that it is certified as "safe" for use.

I suggest that you have any electrical item purchased inspected by a certified electrician before use. Any electric item purchased is used at your own risk, liability, and discretion
