Sustainable zippered pouch / upcycled coin wallet / handmade from thrifted and recycled materials

Aren't they cute! These small pouches are perfect for the loose items on the bottom of your handbag, like earbuds or coins. The keyring loop allows you to clip the pouch onto your keychain or bag. These coin wallets are made out of fabric waste: cut-offs from a local curtain store which would have otherwise gone to waste. I've sewn this fabric into these wonderful zipper pouches. These pouches are great to gift to a sustainable/zero-waste loving friend or family-member.

I LOVE sourcing sustainable materials! I made the concious choice to make all of my products from 100% preloved/thrifted/donated/recycled materials, from fabric to zippers to the hangtags. Buying this pouch could be considered a sustainable choice.

Washing instructions:
Wash preferably by hand. Stubborn stains? Machine wash on 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Avoid using a tumble dryer. Lay flat to dry.

Materials used are:
Main fabric: fabric waste (cut-offs from the industry), possibly cotton with plastic backing
Bias-tape: thrifted, probably cotton
Zipper tabs: made from thrifted curtain, possibly polyester
Zipper: found at my local thrift store
Thread for main stitching: virgin, 100% cotton
