This is truly a unique baby quilt, one I designed, pieced and quilted. Plus blocks are popular in modern quilting, but what takes this design to another level is that they are nested in circular shapes of aqua and yellow.

This vibrant modern 36" x 44" quilt features organic wavy line quilting. It makes for a lovely crib or car quilt, or a play mat. Alternatively you may wish to hang the quilt on the wall for a bright addition to a room. The quilt is 100% cotton gorgeous quilt shop quality fabrics, Fairfield bamboo batting, and was constructed and quilted with 100% cotton thread. The batting gives great definition of quilting, with both lightness and cuddliness. Bamboo is eco-friendly and naturally antibacterial, as well as easy care; it can be machine washed in cold water and dried on low or air. It has been laundered once: a cold water wash followed by 5 - 10 minutes in a low temperature dryer, and then lay flat to dry. This is my suggestion for care of all my quilts. This gives the much-loved crinkly texture that you get after laundering a quilt.

This is an original design, a one of a kind quilt for that special little one. Because of its size, it can serve as a crib quilt, a car quilt, a tummy time quilt, or a wallhanging.

It was designed, sewn and quilted in a smoke-free home. The binding is done by machine using Coats & Clark 100% polyester thread for a lovely finish. See closeup photo.
