Sweet Peas are one of the most fragrant plants you can grow in the garden. Delicate, silky blooms fill a room with the fresh perfume of Spring. Their fragrance is unmistakable and often evokes childhood memories. I have many favorite Sweet Peas as they come in so many colors!
Blue Shift sweet pea is a modern Grandiflora sweet pea that blooms in the summer. An unusual color that "shifts" in color from pink/mauve to shades of blues and turquoise. A large sweet smelling flower on long stems.
I plant Sweet Pea seeds every year in my garden. They are very hardy annual flowers and can be planted as soon as the soil can be worked.
I plant seeds 6 inches apart on a 6 foot tall fence so as they grow the stems of the flowers will be long, tall and perfect for cutting.
