Adorned with the words, initials, monogram, name, date, or other short phrase in your foil press color of choice, these mini saddle stitch notepads add the perfect custom touch. Each notebook comes with the same letters foil pressed / embossed on the cover in a timeless serif font.

Journal size is 3" x 5.5" and contains 60 blank pages (120 sheets) with saddle stitch binding. Cover cardstock weight is 260 gsm. Interior paper weight is 80 gsm, and is designed to hold up to ballpoint pens, rollerball pens, fountain pens, and highlighters.

So where did the shop name come from? A portmanteau is an old French word for a box or suitcase that opens into two equal parts (much like my matchboxes). The shop logo is derived from an imagined antique lock on an old leather suitcase, something like one would carry on a long train journey. And just how do you pronounce portmanteau? It rhymes with studio (port-man-toe). :)
