When do I download my template as a PDF?

You can download your template as a PDF. This is the recommended option because it is so widely accepted by print shops. If you are printing and trimming your invitations at home, I suggest using a PDF as well because you can include trim marks when downloading.

When do I download my template as a JPEG?

Another option for downloading your template is JPEG. Sometimes printers prefer JPEG and some print shops only accept JPEG files. This is when you would want to use this file type. In addition, if you purchased a template that includes a phone invite then you can download that file as a JPEG to send invitations through text message or email.

What are trim marks and bleed?

If you download your template as a PDF, you can include to show trim marks. If you are going to be trimming the template at home, this is a great option. There is also an option to show bleed. This is an extra 1/8″ added around the entire template to allow it to be cut the to the correct size if there are design elements that flow off the page.

How do templates work?

After purchasing your template, you will receive an email from Templett. You will need to create an account to be able to access your template. Once your account is created, you will have access to all of your purchased templates. Here, you can edit and download each template and print them off when you are done!

What does '1080x1920px' mean?

The size of your phone screen can be measured in pixels (px). You can check the size of your phone screen by doing a simple search online, although 1080x1920px will look great on most phones.
