Medieval Over-Gown ONLY.

I'm very excited to release my new line of sewing patterns! I've tried to make this as simple as possible and I'm making these the way I do it. And let's face it... sewing is a passion and the easier it is to accomplish that, the easier life is and we don't get as frustrated.

I do recommend that you invest in a serger. I will be showing all of my patterns with serged edges. While it is not necessary, it would be a nice addition to your sewing space. I do not use expensive equipment. I use the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine and the Singer Serger. Both are inexpensive and get the job done.

The guide was a bit tricky for a newbie like me, but I did it! I think the size (7/8) is a little bit small, my girl is 7, skinny and normal height and the gown is a bit tight. But overall it's a great tutorial and it turned out awesome! :)

This turned out perfect for my daughter. I did it little different to avoid having to use bias tape as extensively. I would love to see a diagram of the pdf pattern pieces in the instructions. I did have my pieces taped together incorrectly and had to regroup! My daughter loved the final product!
