Most of the pieces that are available on this site are made of copper. Although they are sealed there is a chance that the seal could wear off. To preserve the seal, take off your jewelry before you shower and wash your hands.

If the seal does wear off, the ring may leave a green hue on your finger. It is completely harmless.If you do not like the green hue you can coat the inside of the ring with Protectaclear or with clear nail polish.

The copper has a patina on it and the patina will change colors over time. The patina may also start to come off if rubbed against other metals such as rings on the finger next to it.

To clean these rings you can use a light buffing cloth or an oil such as coconut or sunflower oil.

Electroformed Jewelry is made with copper. It is not necessarily delicate but copper is a softer metal and can be bent. Refrain from bending or putting strenuous strain on the metal pieces.
