This is an original poem by Sarah Steele about the beauty that is God’s sovereignty in choosing to save sinners. It is a reflection on Saul's/Paul's conversion in the book of Acts and how wondrous it is that God chooses us even before we choose Him.

This poem is typed in a 1940s typewriter on paper original to the typewriter (!). It is a 5x7 and comes with no frame. It is hand stitched with yellow floss to depict the blinding Light that Paul encountered. There will be some variation as this is made to order. **No frame is included in this listing.

He was sure he was right
Walking life with perfection
When Jesus called out
Gave his heart new direction

He didn’t ask
For correction

God doesn’t wait for our asking
When we’re dead in our sins
And don’t care and sit basking
He comes and He calls us
And starts the unmasking
So I’m thankful that God
Doesn’t wait
For our asking

I don’t know how I found it, but I didn’t think I could find a more perfect card for my friend. Then, Sarah made it even better! I somehow missed her messages asking me if I would prefer her new version or the version listed, and she made the wise decision to send the new one, since I didn’t get back to her. I held on to the card after it arrived because I was waiting for the right time to give it to her. So I didn’t notice the changes. I just recently read her messages (from weeks ago) and read the new card, realizing that THESE new words were indeed the words I needed to share with my friend! I shared this whole story with my friend when I gave it to her, and we both agreed that it was a very cool story, from God! Besides all of that, the card came beautifully packaged, and was well-crafted. I will definitely order more!
