The Black Cat Tarot Deck is a beautifully designed tarot set that features intricate illustrations inspired by the mystique and symbolism of black cats.

Welcome Black Cat Loving friends!

The Black Cat Tarot Deck is a beautifully designed tarot set that features intricate illustrations inspired by the mystique and symbolism of black cats. Each card is crafted with attention to detail, showcasing vibrant colors and enchanting imagery that captures the essence of tarot reading. This deck is perfect for both beginners and experienced tarot practitioners, offering insightful guidance and a unique perspective on life's questions.

The accompanying guidebook provides interpretations for each card, along with tips on how to conduct readings and connect with the intuitive energy of the deck. The Black Cat Tarot Deck not only serves as a tool for divination but also as a stunning piece of art that celebrates the allure and mystery of black cats. Whether you are seeking clarity, inspiration, or a deeper understanding of your journey, this tarot deck is an excellent companion for your spiritual exploration.

Black Cats are already full of magic.

When you've had a long hard day and they come and sit in your lap and you INSTANTLY feel less stressed. When they Meow at you Good Morning ( Which could be translated to FEED ME NOW) When you pat their silky furr and they purr super loud. Or when they dash around the house for no reason at 2 am how do we know they aren't fighting evil spirits?

Whatever quirky thing your black cat does, that’s what makes them special. This deck highlights the special and silly things about our favorite noir felines!

This deck is not bad luck. In fact this deck is super lucky! Black cats have long endured cruelty and horrible misconceptions due to myths and superstitions. There is no bad luck when these cuties cross your path. Black Cats make the best companion for your tarot readings because they are so elegant! Let’s start with the absolute outward beauty of the coat. Black cats look sophisticated. If the cat is kept healthy and fed excellent quality food, the black coat should be sleek, shiny and simply gorgeous. A black cat always looks as if they are ready for a formal night out on the town. In addition to the black cat’s elegance, they also look like a little panther gracefully roaming around. It’s as if you have a little piece of the wild in your home. A black cat walking or running through the house is the picture of grace, stealth, mystery and beauty. What better symbol to connect with tarot then the loyal black meow meow.

Black Cat Tarot is a deck of Black Cats, each cat is digitally drawn into cuteness. The cards are standard Tarot Deck Size. ((Standard tarot card size of 2.75" x 4.75" (70 mm x 120 mm)). The cardstock is thicker! We reached our stretch goal of higher quality card stock! The upgraded card stock is thicker and thus less great with quick shuffling, but it’s more durable and doesn’t tear as easily. It’s much more expensive to use the higher quality paper but they won’t quick shuffle like a cheap poker deck. This is a deck of quality that will last you!

What is in this Deck?

This deck is 78 illustrated unique cards featuring black cats and traditional Ryder Waite symbolism. Meaning it follows the pater most RWS decks follow. So if you already read tarot or are planning to learn this is the purrfect deck for you. It holds true to the original cards symbolism without being cliques or gimmicky. Every card is artistic and unique, I didn't want a single card to feel like a pip deck ( pip meaning just numbered only for the suits) This deck features a unique black Cat on each card. I also wanted each kitty to be different and special, because no cat is alike and they are each special and magical in their own way. Much like you are. If you want to learn tarot this is a great starter deck, Each Card has classic imagery from the Rider–Waite–Smith Tarot Deck first published in 1909. This deck holds up traditions with a modern and adorable twist. Also if you are a master of Tarot already you will delight in the rich symbolism each card offers!

I wanted the cards to be colorful and unique. I hope that someone does a reading with my deck and they find some clarity and insight into themselves. I believe tarot is a very important tool. I really believe in tapping into your own knowledge and power. Cats are so wise, you hear of cats sitting on hospital beds before people die. Cats are mysterious and wise creatures and we can learn so much from them. I connect with black cats so personally that thinking about them in tarot has deepened my practice. I connect with these kitties and I hope others do too. There's a special deck for every person. and there's a deck that is an occasional use Deck. I think this deck can be both. For some people I hope its their go to, for others I hope they at least find entertainment in the cards. Maybe they will really connect with a card and my imagery can connect them more deeply with that card's meaning. It is a deep deck in the sense that symbolism is important for each card, but also its just pretty adorable in fun. Things can be multidimensional and purpose can be determined by the user. I hope my deck makes people happy. Like a fat purring kitty on your lap :)

If you love Black cats you NEED this deck. Know this deck goes to supporting cat lovers and a small artist. I don't use big box stores, I make the things myself with small businesses. I drew these cards in procreate on my ipad. I edited them and talked with multiple shipping companies. I have a lot of experience printing projects for Kickstarter projects and to be honest I am picky. Don't feel like you're lining the pockets of some rich guy, I am a small one person shop. I am an artist and a creator and I want you to get a tarot deck you love. I have poured my heart and soul into this project and I hope it shows. I am not trying to make a quick buck, I am trying to add creation and beauty into the world. I love Black Cats. I love Tarot. I love this project and I hope you love it too!

Did you miss the Black Cat Tarot Kickstarter? No worries! You can still grab the deck!
